In the 1960s the foundation of the Club was primarily that of supporting charitable causes, a core purpose that has continued through to this day. The original Doghouse Benevolent Fund helped many in those early years, taking care of families in the racing community stricken by accident, misfortune and grief.
Every year, the Women’s Motor Racing Associates Club is proud to support up to 3 charities; chosen through an extensive selection process from great causes nominated by our Members.
Together we continue to achieve our fundraising goals and have made a significant impact to those chosen charities – to date raising over £2.5m!
